Nina O’Neal is a Partner & Investment Advisor with Archer Investment Management. She has been featured in multiple industry publications as a sought out national thought leader and commentator on industry topics and trends. Named one of the InvestmentNews 40 Under 40 Financial Professionals, Nina also serves as a participant for InvestmentNews and Fidelity’s Think Tank, “Future of the Financial Services Industry.” InvestmentNews uses this information to create informational white papers, reports and articles to inform the industry on future trends. She can be found on Seasons 4 & 5 of “Practice Makeover,” an InvestmentNews video series. Nina has been sought out as a panelist and participant in several think tank meetings and industry conferences. She is a writer on practice management and industry topics for Financial Planning Magazine. Nina has also been featured as a commentator in US News & World Report, The Washington Post, OnWallStreet, Bank Investment Consultant, Investor’s Business Daily, The Street and more. She was named a 2018 recipient of the Triangle Business Journal 40 Under 40 Leadership Award.

Nina began her career in the financial industry in New York in 2004 with Jennison Associates. After time on Wall Street, Nina moved back to NC in 2006 to become a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch. In 2009, she became co-owner of Archer Investment Management to fulfill her desire to provide unbiased advice and unparalleled client service. Her focus is with high income earning professionals, small business owners, as well as individuals and families in transition. Whether it be death, divorce, retirement, job change, birth, marriage, or whatever is going on in a person's life, she strives to make it a comfortable transition financially. She focuses on bringing her experience with large pensions, endowments, and corporations both to individuals and to businesses. The firm prioritizes financial planning and believes that is the cornerstone to financial well-being. 

A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Nina has several industry licenses including the General Securities Representative (Series 7), NASAA-Investment Advisors State Law Exam (Series 66), Life, Health, Medicare Supplement and Long Term Care Insurance licenses.

Nina has supported, sponsored, attended, fund-raised for, and planned numerous community charity events. She is an active member of Hayes Barton United Methodist Church and the North Carolina State University Club. She is also an active parent at St. David’s School and the West Raleigh Baseball Association. She enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and is an avid reader. She lives in Raleigh with her husband and two sons.
